Digital Page

As experts in color separation and output for print media, The Digital Page was looking for an eye-catching magazine ad to be placed in a trade directory along with ads for hundreds of other businesses. They needed the page to look like "COLOR LIFE SAVERS" so well that just by flipping by the ad, the viewer would get the message without even having time to read the headline. The page was built in a page Quark with imported graphics from Photoshop, Illustrator and Dimensions.

Designer's Note: The ad was originally specked as a six-plate job - four-color with a metallic ink for the foil wrapper and a spot varnish over the metallic. The printing, however, was being donated and the job quickly became a four plate job.
